Mr. Bennett Potter
Mr. Potter serves as the assistant high school band director, head middle school band director, and elementary music instructor for Edgewood ISD.

He manages the entire middle school band program which consists of 7th and 8th grade performing ensembles and three beginning band classes (brass, woodwind, and percussion). He also assists with the EHS band, drumline, and teaches music to all elementary students grades Pre-K-5.

Mr. Potter is currently in his 16th year with Edgewood ISD, and also taught 2 years at Salina Public Schools in Salina, OK.

Mr. Potter grew up in Owasso, OK where he was a member of the Pride of Owasso Band Program under the direction of David and Jana Gorham. He attended the University of Arkansas and studied music education and trumpet with Prof. Dale Warren. Mr. Timothy Gunter, and Prof. Robert M. Bright, Prof. Eldon Janzen, Prof. Chalon Ragsdale, and Prof. Tony Falcone.

Mr. Potter is a member of the Texas Music Educator's Association, the Association of Texas Small School Bands, the Texas Classroom Teachers Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Mr. Potter loves all forms of music, but especially the exquisite melodies of the best rock and roll group ever...The Beatles!!!
