Homework assignments, as well as assignments given during class, are to be completed and submitted on time. It is the student's responsibility to turn in assignments to the teacher. Late work will be accepted, to a point, but may receive a grade deduction as indicated:
? 1 day late thirty points (that is, 70 will be the highest possible grade)
? 2 days late fifty points (50 will be the highest possible grade)

? More than 2 days No work will be accepted more than 2 days late.
Such work will receive a grade of zero.
Teachers may assign a late penalty to any project turned in after the due date in accordance with previously established guidelines approved by the principal and disseminated to students. Persistent behavior will be considered as persistent misbehavior and/or insubordination and will be handled in accordance with campus disciplinary measures.
