Grading Policy
Grading Policy

I take a minimum of 2-3 daily and test grades per week.  This totals 21-24 grades per grading period.  A spelling pretest will be given on Thursdays and if a student receives a 100 or higher they do not have to take the spelling test on Friday.  For more information regarding absences and make-up work please see the student handbook.

Homework
Homework is any work that is not completed in class each day.  The students should also be studying spelling words and multiplication facts; as well as, reading 20 minutes per night.

Correction Policy

In order to receive credit for a correction, a student must rewrite the entire missed question and answer choices on a separate sheet of paper.  Then they must choose the correct answer and staple that paper to the front of their original assignment.  Then and only then will their paper be re-graded and given the best possible grade of a 70.  Only one attempted correction will be allowed per assignment.
