Coach Kay will be joining Edgewood High School as an Algebra Teacher and Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. 🥳
We had a few minutes to sit down and talk with Coach Kay and here is what we learned about our new family member. 🥰
💜 Where did you attend college and what degrees and/or certificates do you hold? I went to college at Texas Lutheran University where I majored in Finance. 🎓
💜 How long have you been in education? This will be my first year. 👩🏫🍎
💜 Tell us a little bit about your previous experience. This will be my first year teaching Algebra, but I do have experience in coaching as I have coached select teams over the years.🏫
💜 What would you like to share about your family? My family and I just moved to Edgewood a few years ago and absolutely love East Texas!🥰
💜 Would you like to share a fun fact? I love to travel! ✈️🌍
💜 What do you enjoy outside of work? Outside of work I love to read and sew!📚🧵
