WELCOME HOME TO EDGEWOOD ISD, Ms. Chloe Lenz!! 🏠
Ms. Lenz will be joining Edgewood Elementary School as the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. 🥳
We had a few minutes to sit down and talk with Ms. Lenz and here is what we learned about our new family member. 🥰
💜 Where did you attend college and what degrees and/or certificates do you hold? I have an Associates in Early Child Development from Tyler Junior College (TJC) and a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Western Governors University (WGU). Because I received my Bachelors out of state, I am certified to teach in both Texas and Utah. I am also CPR/AED certified for all ages. 🎓
💜 How long have you been in education? This will be my first-year teaching in an ISD classroom, but I have worked with children in educational settings for thirteen years. 👩🏫🍎
💜 Tell us a little bit about your previous experience. I have worked with schools at Wits End Ranch, teaching children about animals and farm safety. I have also worked in daycares, helping children learn life skills and basic academics. 🏫
💜 What would you like to share about your family? My parents have been married thirty-seven years and I am one of six siblings.🥰
💜 Would you like to share a fun fact? I enjoy celebrating events, both big and small 🥳🎉.
💜 What do you enjoy outside of work? Outside of work I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and playing with my dogs. 📚🎨🧶🐶
💜 Can you tell us why you CHOSE EDGEWOOD? I chose Edgewood ISD because it is a part of the county that I grew up in and part of my roots. Another reason I chose Edgewood is due to how friendly the staff are. Edgewood seems like a place where it is not just the students who will grow, but the staff as well. 💜🐾💛🐾🤍
Again, WELCOME HOME MS. LENZ!! We are excited to have you join us at Edgewood ISD!! 💜🏡💜
