EDGEWOOD, TX – Edgewood High School celebrated two special members of its varsity volleyball program on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, as the Lady Bulldogs honored their graduating seniors during the annual Volleyball Senior Night recognition.
This year's celebration recognized L. Yeager (#9) and S. Elder (#5) for their dedication, commitment, and contributions to the Edgewood High School volleyball program.
Senior Night is a meaningful tradition that provides an opportunity to recognize student-athletes for the countless hours they have devoted to their sport, their teammates, and their school. It is also a time to celebrate the friendships, memories, and experiences that have shaped their high school athletic journeys.
Throughout their time representing Edgewood, Yeager and Elder have experienced the challenges and rewards that come with being part of a competitive athletic program. From practices and games to the excitement of victories and the lessons learned through adversity, both seniors have contributed to the spirit and tradition of Edgewood volleyball.
The evening was also an opportunity to recognize the families, coaches, and supporters who have encouraged these athletes throughout their volleyball careers. Behind every student-athlete are individuals who provide support, encouragement, and countless hours of dedication to helping them succeed.
While Senior Night marks one of the final chapters of their high school volleyball careers, the lessons learned through athletics will remain with these young ladies long after their final match. Teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and determination are qualities that will continue to serve them well in the years ahead.
Edgewood ISD extends its congratulations and appreciation to L. Yeager and S. Elder for proudly representing their school and volleyball program.
As these two seniors prepare for the next chapter of their lives, they leave behind memories, friendships, and a lasting connection to the Edgewood volleyball family.
Congratulations, L. Yeager and S. Elder! Thank you for your dedication to Edgewood Volleyball and for the memories you have helped create.
