EDGEWOOD, TX | October 23, 2026 – Three Edgewood High School students have been selected to receive the prestigious Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) Leaders of Tomorrow recognition.

T. George, G. Hayes, and T. Cummings were chosen by Edgewood High School staff in recognition of their leadership, character, and positive influence within the school community.

On Friday, October 23, George and Hayes attended the TVCC Leaders of Tomorrow Leadership Conference and Awards Ceremony, where they were recognized alongside other outstanding student leaders. The event provided an opportunity for students to celebrate their accomplishments while exploring the importance of leadership and personal growth.

Although Cummings was unable to attend the ceremony, he was also selected for this distinguished honor and will receive his award.

The Leaders of Tomorrow recognition highlights students who demonstrate the qualities necessary to become positive influences in their schools, communities, and future endeavors.

Being nominated and selected by their own high school staff makes this recognition especially meaningful. These three young men have demonstrated qualities that set them apart as leaders among their peers and representatives of Edgewood High School.

Edgewood ISD congratulates T. George, G. Hayes, and T. Cummings on this outstanding achievement. Their selection reflects the district's commitment to developing students who lead by example, demonstrate strong character, and strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

Congratulations to these three Bulldogs on being recognized as Leaders of Tomorrow!
