⚠️ If you cannot get your badge ahead of time, there will be a badge station at the Elementary main entrance the morning of September 8. Please note that lines will be longer.

🚗 Parking & Arrival

Please do not arrive early to allow regular morning traffic to clear.

Park behind the Elementary building near the softball field.

Walk to the Elementary main entrance (beside the Elementary Gym) to check in.

We are so excited about the construction progress at Edgewood ISD! We will continue sharing monthly updates and pictures so you can follow along with the transformation.
Our contractors, architects, and site manager asked us to remind everyone that construction areas are closed for your safety and due to liability. No Trespassing signs are posted, and we kindly ask everyone to respect those boundaries.
We promise to keep you updated with plenty of photos and news as we make this final push to complete Phase 1A and 1B before the start of second semester.
It’s wonderful to see our district growing — the future is looking bright!

E. Wilcoxson will be receiving a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship through the Texas FFA at the Texas FFA State Convention. Through a competitive selection process, academic scholarships are awarded annually at the Texas FFA Convention to deserving members. Texas FFA is fortunate to have incredible donors and sponsors who made it possible to award 158 scholarships totaling over $2.3 million this year.

🎓✨ Thank You for Celebrating with Us! ✨🎓 Thank you to everyone who joined us this evening for the Senior Recognition Ceremony. It was a beautiful night honoring the hard work, achievements, and bright futures of the Class of 2025! 💜 We wanted to take a few moments and introduce you to our Top 5 Graduates! 📚🏅 We asked each of them a few questions to learn more about their experiences, inspirations, and plans for the future and here’s what they shared! 👇 Graduating 1st in the Class of 2025 and serving as Class Valedictorian is Ms. A Cassell. 💜 Where do you plan to attend next year? I plan to attend the University of Texas at Tyler in the fall. 💜 Do you know what degree you are pursuing and if so, what is it? I plan to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with the goal of continuing my education to earn a Master of Science in Nursing and become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. 💜 What does this honor mean to you? Being named Valedictorian is incredibly meaningful to me. It validates the years of hard work, the late nights spent studying, and the sacrifices I made along the way. This honor is more than just a title, it reflects perseverance, growth, and the unwavering support of those who have stood beside me. It symbolizes every moment I chose discipline over ease and every challenge I faced head-on despite self-doubt. More importantly, it is a tribute to the people who inspired and believed in me- my teachers, family, and peers. I do not see this recognition as a symbol of being “the best,” but rather as a responsibility to lead with humility, gratitude, and purpose. It reminds me that success is not just measured in grades, but in character. 💜 If you could thank one teacher, who would it be and what would you want to say? While I am grateful to every teacher who has guided me, I especially want to thank Mrs. Cheyenne Pickens. Her unwavering support, kindness, and passion for teaching have profoundly impacted my life. She has challenged me to grow, believed in my potential, and helped shape me into the student and person I am today. Thank you, Mrs. Pickens, for your encouragement, your dedication, and for being a source of strength throughout my journey.
